Happy National Fragrance Day!

21 Mar

Yes, National Fragrance Day is a holiday for us beauty lovers. To  celebrate, below are a few of my favorite fragrances.

My Everyday Go-To: Burberry The Beat Eau De Parfum

I’ve been wearing this scent for three years now, and I never tire of it. Like the name suggests, it’s upbeat and fun–perfect to get you going in the morning.

Smells like: a spicy floral

Notes of: bergamot, pink pepper, white musk and cedarwood

Burberry The Beat Eau De Parfum, $57 for 1 oz., sephora.com

My Evening Out Spray: Guerlain Shalimar Eau De Parfum

My mom used to wear this fragrance when I was younger. It’s so strong that you only need a drop of it, but I love the rich, overwhelming smell. It’s guaranteed to last from prepping to go out until the last song of the night.

Smells like: an exotic musk

Notes of: lemon, jasmine, tonka bean and incense

Guerlain Shalimar Eau De Parfum, $124 for 3 oz., nordstrom.com

My Most Creative Applicator: Thierry Mugler Angel Hair Mist

For a hint of sneaky scent throughout the day, I spritz the underside of my hair with this hair mist to prevent greasy strands. Two sprays are enough to last all day.

Smells like: a spicy chocolate (really!)

Notes of: chocolate, caramel, patchouli and honey

Thierry Mugler Angel Hair Mist, $36 for 1 oz., sephora.com

My Double Duty Scent: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Solid Perfume Necklace

This adorable necklace hides a solid pat of  Viva La Juicy inside. This has got to be the cutest and easiest way to freshen fragrance on the go, and the sweet scent perfectly encapsulates the brand’s fun and flirty vibe.

Smells like: a fruity berry dessert

Notes of: wild berries, mandarins, sandalwood and praline

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Solid Perfume Necklace, $48, sephora.com
